CHW Certification Committee Background and Responsibilities
In June 2021, ARCHWA created the CHW Certification Commission. The commission is responsible for the following:
Review and approval of certification applications for individual CHWs
Review and approval of CHW core competency training programs
Maintain official registry for all certified CHWs in the state of Arkansas
Review and approval of recertification applications of CHWs
The commission can also address any complaints if they arise.
